Jon Morgan –
Joint Managing
Director – has worked
in market research since
1983 within
operations, administration,
training, quality control,
project
management and business
development. He therefore
brings broad business
expertise to Morgans
especially in the management
of fieldwork services
and quality assurance.
Jon is
responsible for client
liaison, project planning
and management from the
operational
perspective.
“I
enjoy watching or playing most
sports, especially football
(follow the
Villa as passionately as ever)
and I still manage to play the
occasional game, although
swimming and cycling are much
kinder on the
creaking body.
I
enjoy a pint of proper beer,
walking with the dog and
working in the
garden to grow an ever greater
selection of vegetables and
fruit. I
look forward to lazy days on
the beach in a special part of
Cornwall;
expanding my limited culinary
range; making more use of my
camera;
exploring more of Africa and
travelling across Britain by
train
(particularly behind older
diesels).”

Gill Tomlinson –
Joint
Managing Director –
brings
to Morgans
her expertise in
collecting and interpreting
information. She has over 30
years
marketing research experience,
including at board level for a
major UK
agency. She
is
renowned for her interpretative
skills and her commercial and
strategic
insight that directly impacts on
decisions, adding to competitive
advantage.
Gill
is
responsible for client
liaison, project planning and
management from
scoping through to
presentation.
“On a
personal level, my three
kids are almost fledged
and so more ‘me’ time
has become
available. My plan
is to go for long rambles
across our beautiful
countryside with young
Echo (golden retriever)
and
finally get the garden
sorted! To the future I’m
mentally planning my
own Gap Breaks, with
Africa (particularly
Namibia) and Australia
high
on the agenda”.

Julia Buckley –
Market
Research
Executive –
contributes
experience from a varied working
life in industry sectors as
diverse as
horticulture and mental health
nursing – once combining the two
in
horticultural therapy. This first-hand
knowledge of, and keen interest
in, different working
environments plus
her tenacious ability to reach
people, no matter how hard they
are to
access, makes her an invaluable
asset to Morgans and clients.
Julia is responsible
for
business development and
project management.
“I studied
Social Science and Human
Geography before moving into
market research.
As a personal interest I am
actively associated with the
local
producers market in
Wallingford as I’m passionate
about food and its
provenance. This helps
offset the fact I can’t grow
much
myself because I only have
window boxes in my town centre
flat.”

Gilly McLeod – Senior
Researcher – Gilly
travelled extensively in her
early working years as an
in-flight
attendant, which developed her
excellent inter-personal skills,
levels
of patience and calm demeanour.
She
then worked extensively as a
market research interviewer
before joining
Morgans to head up our team who
undertake both telephone and
face to
face interviews. These qualities
make her an outstanding
supporter of
our research staff; she helps
them develop their skills for
the benefit
of project objectives.
Gilly is responsible
for day to
day fieldwork control and
training.
“After
seeing the world I settled
in the Oxfordshire countryside
with husband, James, and
brought up my
three sons. Away from
work I enjoy sailing in the
Solent with
the family, gardening and
walking my Labrador.”

– is Morgans' longest
serving employee (alongside the

developed the in-house CATI
system. Michael’s
role
includes questionnaire
computerisation and data analysis.
He is
currently involved in
developing
Morgans’
online
business properties, an endeavour
which ties in neatly with his
keen interest in the usage and
effects of web applications on
market
research and how these are driving
innovative changes in the
industry.
Michael
is responsible for data
set up and processing and
technical issues.
“I
am a self-professed Spacemen
3 enthusiast and compose music
in my home studio, and am a
committed
student of Integral theory,
free-market economics &
Paul
Westerberg. As an avid fan of
transcendental art, I also
like to drink
chilled diet Mountain Dew
(that I import from Texas)
whilst enjoying
the films of Jon Moritsugu
& John Waters.”
